Boxergy recently announced The High Backs as their competition winner to have a 10 solar panel system installed in their community project.
High Backs is a community garden which encourages members of the community to reduce social isolation by sharing their gardening skills. Their site previously had no access to electrical power thereby limiting their initiatives and the votes poured in from the Burnhill area for them in this competition.
Boxergy CEO, Jim Laidlaw, recently visited The High Backs to meet Lizzy McDonald and they discussed the project’s need for energy.
