Sunamp Ltd and Heat Transfer Equipment Company, Inc. (HTEC) have signed a Supply, Licensing, and Manufacturing Agreement that will bring production of Sunamp’s patented thermal batteries to California, marking a major milestone in Sunamp’s U.S. expansion.
For HTEC, this agreement builds on more than a decade of delivering high-quality skid packages and, more recently, standardised heat pump solutions. Through this partnership, HTEC is now expanding into domestic manufacturing of thermal energy storage (TES) systems using Sunamp’s patented technology.
Powered by Sunamp’s world-leading Plentigrade® phase change material (PCM), the batteries will deliver exceptional flexibility and performance, supporting applications ranging from homes and apartments to multifamily, industrial, and district-scale systems.
This collaboration aligns with California’s ambitious clean energy policies and advances Sunamp’s strategic objectives to expand its footprint in the U.S. market.
